In the mystique folds of Life
I have found YOU
In serendipitous moments
Of self discovery
And realized with awe
That I am not the Only One
Who has wept blood
And bled tears
In your loving embrace
I have found solace
And in bliss of ignorance
Named it a Miracle
That I am still alive!!

Beautiful, sublime! Yes we all have our own challenges, but those who spot the little joys of life amidst the ups and downs are the ones who are at peace with themselves and spread happiness all around. Loved the composition.
ReplyDeleteSomali, joy lies in being aware that you and everything around you is pulsating with life. Remember this is what Tagore has said in his innumerable compositions.
Deletefound you in moments of self discovery... loved that thought

DeleteLovely joy-filled poem! Indeed life itself is a miracle.
ReplyDeleteTrue Mary. The sad part is we hardly realize it.
DeleteAnd why not a miracle? to have it is one level, and the other is to know it and appreciate it in the present, not as an afterthought. Wow!
