I don't agree with those who say
That I have lost my way
A road unknown perhaps
A bend unexpected somewhat
A landmark challenging indeed
And a milestone in the making
Perhaps
But never, ever do I believe when they say
That I have taken a path astray

You are love, joy, catharsis
At times
You are pain, agony, fear
Indecisive
I am whether to shun you
Or
Embrace you deep
Life
Serendipitous seldom
Formidable often
Yet....

The night deepens
And the silences
Within and without
I am
Still
In the vortex of a storm
In quest
Of calm
Unruffled
Inhale deep
The fragrance of Being
